Please note that Derek Fraser Crosson Hypnotherapy can not guarantee the effectiveness of treatment in any individual cases.
It is important to understand that hypnotherapy and the other associated techniques are not a ‘cure-all’ treatment.
Clients with long term medical problems are encouraged to seek the advice of their GP/ specialist consultant before considering Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Therapy requires that the client be committed to change and be prepared to make the effort to make that change a reality. You may be asked to listen to audio recordings which will be provided for you, or to complete other tasks between session. These are designed to help you gain the most benefit and not doing these is likely to reduce the effectiveness of your results.
There is, of course, a considerable variation in the difficulty of the various problems and there is no general rule which makes it possible to say how much improvement can be achieved and in how much time.
On average I see clients for five or six sessions. I am committed to helping you as swiftly and effectively as possible.
I should be able to give you a fair assessment of how much improvement you can expect and how many sessions may be needed by the end of the initial consultation but if the problem is more complex then we will jointly review progress from time to time.
